The Killers Concert in Cape Town
Brandon Flowers graced us with his presence and we were excited to be in the middle of the winelands on a beauitful summer day's for an outdoor concert.THE KILLERS IN CAPE TOWN! What a show!
Feathers, military, shoulder details all for Mr. Flowers and my sprint to the very front row in boots to save space for all my friends. It was all worth the near sprain in my thigh from not stretching before that unexpected sprint ;-)
The real story behind how we were front row at the Killers concert:
So we arrive late in our shuttle, get escorted to the front and as we are waiting for the gates to open, we hear someone yell, 'Gladiators are you ready?!' So I knew people would sprint. The gates opened and people took off running for the front, I was one of them and was the only one to make it to the front from our group and I saved a spot for the rest. Made it to the front even even running my rock star boots. My track & field days running the 200m helped out there! What a concert! Worth the sprint.
